Job Description

Final Documents Specialist The Final Documents Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of mortgage loan final documents. This entry-level position supports the Mortgage Division by managing incoming packages from title companies, maintaining compliance with investor requirements, and keeping internal systems updated. While prior mortgage experience is not required, strong organizational skills and general office experience are preferred. Key Responsibilities: Retrieve and process packages sent in from title companies. Scan and upload final documents into Encompass and investor websites. Contact title companies to obtain missing recorded mortgages and final title policies. Assist with corrections to recorded mortgages and final title policies. Communicate with investors regarding missing or incomplete final documents. Maintain accurate status updates in Encompass for recorded mortgages and title policies. Generate and provide reporting on missing or outstanding final documents as needed. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred. General office experience required; mortgage or banking experience a plus but not necessary. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
