Preconstruction Estimator

Below are some of the items you will be responsible for: Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare cost estimates for projects, Perform detailed quantity takeoffs to review with Sr. Estimator and/or Estimating Manager, Prepare attractive, accurate, and competitive bid packages, Review contract documents and recommend scope changes prior to execution, Detail unusual or challenging conditions within construction documents, Prepare and answer questions for Production personnel. Desired Skills and Experience: Interest in learning and understanding the Construction industry, Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, Proficient in MS Excel (no coding req.), estimating software a plus, Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical behavior, Self-motivated, self-starter, effective time manager, Highly organized, efficient, detail oriented, Strong math foundation, Bachelor's Degree.
