Bookkeeper We are seeking a talented and motivated Bookkeeper to join our client a public accounting firm in Greensburg, PA. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong accounting skills who is looking for a contract opportunity. Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations Assist with preparation of financial statements and reports Support tax preparation and filing for federal, state, and local requirements Perform ad hoc financial analysis and assist with special projects as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate accounting processes Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field At least 1 year of experience in accounting (public accounting experience preferred) CPA certification or progress toward CPA is a plus but not required Proficiency in Excel (vlookups and pivot tables) Experience with QuickBooks and tax software ideal Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Pay Details: $24.00 to $29.00 per hour Search managed by: Jessica Robbins Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
