Buyer

Buyer In the Buyer role, you will support a high-performing manufacturing operation while collaborating closely with production, engineering, procurement, and finance teams. Review production schedules and forecasts to determine material and component requirements Execute end-to-end purchasing activities, including sourcing, negotiations, and placing purchase orders Manage supplier performance, resolve supply issues, and maintain purchasing documentation Contribute procurement data for cross-functional project meetings and production updates Track open POs, expedite critical items, and communicate shortages or recovery plans Support supplier qualification through financial analysis and reference checks Partner with production and engineering on material substitutions, quality concerns, and continuous improvement initiatives MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
