The Sales Analyst plays a critical role in supporting sales performance and planning through accurate, timely, and actionable data analysis. This role is responsible for maintaining territory data, tracking sales performance against targets, and supporting budget management processes. By ensuring the integrity of key data sets and applying sound analytical methods, the Sales Analyst enables the sales teams across North America to operate efficiently and make informed decisions throughout the year. You will be based out of our New Lenox, IL office with a hybrid schedule of 4 days in the office and 1 day remote/virtual. As the Sales Analyst, we need your in-depth knowledge to drive performance through data to: 1. Keep our sales data sharp, clean, and powerful by: Ensuring our CRM, planning tools, and performance systems stay aligned and up to date Auditing data regularly to maintain accuracy and consistency Managing territory assignments, account ownership changes, and quota updates Working closely with Finance to troubleshoot discrepancies and strengthen data integrity 2. Turn numbers into meaningful insights that guide action by: Building clear, visual dashboards and reports on performance, budget progress, and pipeline health Translating complex data into stories sales leaders can easily understand Responding to ad-hoc requests with thoughtful, business-relevant analysis Highlighting risks, opportunities, and trends and recommending solutions 3. Help shape the future of our sales strategy by: Modeling scenarios for headcount, territories, and budgets Evaluating coverage and opportunity distribution to support fairness and growth Maintaining detailed documentation for all planning assumptions and changes Partnering with Sales and HR to deploy plans and communicate updates 4. Serve as a trusted data steward across the organization by: Owning and maintaining documentation, definitions, and reporting standards Monitoring system integrations to ensure reliable data flow Collaborating with IT, HR, and Finance on cross-functional data projects Identifying and implementing process improvements that elevate how we use data Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or equivalent of 10+ years of progressive Operations leadership experience 35 years of experience in sales operations, analytics, or financial planning Advanced Excel skills and fluency with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), Salesforce reporting, etc. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, PowerPoint) Impeccable attention to detail and a passion for clean, accurate data Strong analytical thinking with the ability to uncover trends and insights Excellent communication skills especially when explaining data to non-technical audiences Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze key performance metrics Experience working with CRM platforms and sales planning tools, HubSpot a plus A collaborative, proactive mindset and the ability to juggle multiple priorities Industry knowledge of millwork and/or Metrie products and services is an asset A collaborative work environment with a clear strategy and goals A competitive base salary and profit-sharing program Comprehensive benefits package - medical, dental, eye care and life insurance - Benefits start first of the month following hire! 401k Retirement Savings Plan - Up to 4% match, 100% vested after 6 months Development opportunities we recognize potential in our people and strive to offer various opportunities for advancement, training, and personal growth Family-oriented culture, focused on putting our people first
