Customer Fulfillment Coordinator Shipments & Allocations The Customer Fulfillment Coordinator Shipments & Allocations plays a critical role in ensuring customer orders move from allocation to shipment without delays. This position focuses on resolving shipment blockers, coordinating final payment requirements, and working cross-functionally to release orders on time. Reporting to the Customer Engagement team, this role acts as the last-mile problem solver in the fulfillment processowning past-due shipments, resolving allocation and inventory challenges, and partnering with internal teams to get orders out the door accurately and efficiently. Shipment Execution & Past-Due Resolution Own and actively work past-due shipments, partnering with coordinators to resolve blockers and drive orders to shipment. Identify root causes of shipment delays and coordinate solutions across departments. Maintain clear visibility into shipment status and next steps. Allocation & Inventory Solutioning Work allocation issues by reviewing inventory availability, substitutions, partial releases, and shipment strategies. Collaborate with internal teams to determine the best path forward when full allocation is not immediately available. Split & Partial Shipments Execute pick splitting and partial shipment strategies to meet customer deadlines while maintaining order accuracy. Ensure system accuracy when orders are split across multiple shipments. Final Payment Coordination Coordinate with Finance and internal stakeholders to ensure final payments are secured prior to shipment release. Proactively identify and resolve payment-related shipment holds. Pre-Shipment Coordination Coordinate pre-shipment quality inspections with the Logistics team. Communicate inspection scheduling needs and timing to ensure shipments can proceed without delay. On-Hold Order Resolution Actively work orders placed on hold due to payment, allocation, manufacturing, or documentation issues. Serve as a central point of coordination to clear holds and maintain shipment momentum. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Logistics & Warehouse Teams, Finance/AR, and Manufacturing. Communicate proactively to align internal teams on shipment readiness, risks, and resolution paths. Qualifications Experience & Background 24 years of experience in fulfillment, logistics, supply chain, order management, or operations support. Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment strongly preferred. Systems & Skills Proficiency working in ERP and CRM systems (Salesforce experience a plus). Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and competing priorities. High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through. Working Style Solution-oriented and comfortable working through ambiguity. Persistent, organized, and proactive in driving orders forward. Strong communicator who collaborates effectively across various internal departments.
