Collections Specialist Intermediate We are looking for a skilled Collections Specialist Intermediate with 3-6 years of experience to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will handle accounts receivable processes, including cash transactions, loan servicing, and delinquency follow-ups. This is a long-term contract position requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Responsibilities: Process incoming and outgoing cash transactions with accuracy and attention to detail. Conduct research and follow up on delinquent accounts and tax-related inquiries. Maintain loan systems by ensuring accurate updates and managing workflows effectively. Make outbound calls to clients regarding account statuses and resolve discrepancies promptly. Manage escrow accounts, including tax payments and reconciliation of balances. Handle reversals and adjustments in cash accounting processes. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint to organize and track financial data. Monitor and analyze cash flow for commercial real estate loans and mortgage servicing. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline collection processes and enhance efficiency. Requirements: Associate degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, or a related field. 3-6 years of experience in accounts receivable, loan servicing, or cash accounting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with SharePoint workflows. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and colleagues. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in banking operations, including cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of commercial lending, mortgage servicing, and escrow account management. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy in financial processes.
