Documentation Specialist We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Documentation Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing and maintaining critical documentation related to food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date. Responsibilities Monitor and update existing HACCP, SOP, and QA programs, procedures, and document control programs. Maintain a comprehensive and organized system for storing, retrieving, and accessing critical documents. Implement quality assurance programs to monitor product manufacturing in compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and HACCP. Create new documents such as specification sheets and SOPs, and revise existing ones to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Assist colleagues during downtime and proactively offer help when needed. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a Scientific Discipline preferred 2+ years of experience in Document Control within food/nutrition or pharmaceutical industries. Proficient knowledge of GMP, SOP, and HACCP. Strong attention to detail. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vernon Hills, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
