Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Flexible scheduling options: 3x12-hour shifts (36 guaranteed hours) OR 4x12-hour shifts (40 guaranteed hours) • Weekend coverage required as needed • Float within scope to meet facility needs as required • At least 2 years of ER experience required (18 months minimum, 2 years preferred) • First-time travelers accepted • Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, PALS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) • Epic experience at level 3 or 4 required • Must complete time-sensitive modules that need to be prioritized once assignment is confirmed • Skills required: Arterial line management, management of dysrhythmias, central line care/management, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, care of ventilated patients, isolation precautions/PPE, triage • EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum for each • Must be nicotine-free with negative 10 Panel Nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required • No on-call requirements • All requested time off must be included at time of submission • Non-billable modules averaging 6-15 hours must be completed pre-start and annually Facility: This healthcare facility is a smoke-free environment that maintains strict compliance standards and operates under a comprehensive emergency services program.
