About the Role: The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for leading and scaling the accounts receivable function across multiple business units and complex MSO customer relationships. This role owns billing accuracy, collections strategy, cash application, and AR reporting while ensuring continuity of operations. This position requires a hands-on leader who can design repeatable processes, clearly document workflows, and coach the team to independently manage high risk and high-volume MSO accounts. The ideal candidate brings strong technical AR expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to create structure that supports a growing and increasingly complex business. How youll make a difference: Own the end-to-end accounts receivable lifecycle including billing, collections, cash application, credits, and adjustments Ensure timely and accurate invoicing in accordance with contract terms, pricing, and revenue recognition requirements Establish and maintain standardized procedures to support consistency, scalability, and business continuity Partner with Accounting on month end close including AR reconciliations, revenue support, and audit requests Monitor AR aging, unapplied cash, short pay, and disputes and drive timely resolution MSO Account Management Lead the strategy for managing complex MSO customer accounts including offsets, netting arrangements, and intercompany coordination Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Operations to resolve contractual, compliance, and payment issues Proactively assess credit risk and recommend credit limits, payment terms, and escalation paths Reporting and KPIs Produce and analyze AR metrics including DSO, aging trends, collection effectiveness, and bad debt exposure Provide clear insights and recommendations to finance leadership on cash flow risks and opportunities Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems and reporting tools People Leadership Hire, train, and develop a high performing AR team with clearly defined roles and accountability Create documentation and cross training to support knowledge sharing and team resilience Set performance goals and conduct regular one on one coaching and feedback Foster an inclusive and collaborative team environment aligned with company values Skills to be Successful: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of five years of progressive AR experience Minimum of three years leading or supervising an AR team Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Dutchie, and Leaflink strongly preferred Cannabis or highly regulated industry experience a plus Proven experience managing accounts receivable in a multi entity or MSO environment Strong knowledge of AR best practices, revenue recognition, and internal controls Demonstrated ability to design processes and documentation that scale beyond individuals Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Perks & Benefits: Full suite of medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid parental leave 401 (k) Paid Time Off Short Term and Long-Term Disability Employee Assistance Program Employee life insurance and supplemental life Spouse and child life and AD&D Pet insurance FSA and HSA available Work Environment and Physical Demands: The work environment characteristics and physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
