Apply for Job Job ID 84723 Location Sacramento Full/Part Time Full Time Add to Favorite Jobs Email this Job Job Summary The Clinical Nurse Educator acts as a resource, consultant, mentor, and coach to staff within UC Davis Children's Hospital and additional inpatient units that support the care of children throughout the Health System. This position partners with the Children's Hospital leadership and identified clinical resources to develop educational programs focusing on the knowledge and skill needs of the staff within the Children's Hospital. This position also participates on system-wide education teams as a pediatric representative. The Clinical Nurse Educator acts as a liaison with the Center for Professional Practice of Nursing (CPPN) and facilitates the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation and evaluation of competency assessment, continuing education and leadership development. In addition, as a role model of professional behavior, the Clinical Nurse Educator is instrumental in creating a professional nursing climate within UC Davis Children's Hospital.
