You are: A Supply Chain and Operations professional who helps clients develop strategies and operating models that integrate planning, procurement, product design, manufacturing, and/or fulfillment functions within an organization, as well as connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chains. The energy practice at Accenture is an exciting area of growth. The practice focuses on managing energy spend for clients across all industry verticals, from national retailors to heavy industrials. The energy team collaborates closely with clients to identify goals and develop strategies for reducing costs, hedging against market risks, and setting budgets and tracking financial performance. Sustainability services include emissions measurement, target setting, decarbonization road mapping, sustainability project implementation, and emissions reporting. Consultants provide the foundation for all these client-facing activities, with direction from the firm's experienced leadership. You will play a critical role in building and providing analyses and recommendations that will be the basis for key client decision making relative to their energy strategies and procurement. Support Client Executives (CE) in managing relationships with assigned clients. Manage plant level relationships, attend weekly updates, and prepare required information for client calls with guidance by CE. Function as secondary point of contact for client and support the maintenance of relationships with assigned clients. Develop, organize, and update, client trackers that demonstrate value. Communicate with client to establish forecasted volumes for deliverables. Manage RFP process. Research and understand each client's industry to tailor trackers and update calls to the client's specific goals. Serve as additional contact within system portals (Salesforce, Capturis) to manage corporate summaries Conduct ad hoc research and analysis as appropriate. Travel Requirements: Travel is required for this role and could vary from 10-50%. Here's what you need: Minimum 3 years of management consulting experience and/or minimum 3 years relevant professional experience in Procurement and/or Strategic Sourcing A bachelor's degree in supply chain, finance, engineering, business, or a related field Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint) products, including the ability to develop and interpret complex analytical models and ad-hoc reports Bonus points if: Effective communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to present comfortably to senior executives You have the proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment You have proven client-facing skills and are proficient at building and nurturing client relationships You excel at planning and managing multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously You are comfortable in an entrepreneurial, performance-driven environment and have a capacity for innovation and process improvement You have earned an MBA or equivalent graduate degree Prior experience in driving insights using visualization tools (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (i.e., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
