Work Schedule: 100% FTE, evenings/nights. Any 40 hours Sunday through Saturday from 5:15 pm to 06:30 am per operational needs. You will work at the University Hospital in Madison, WI. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to: Maintain heating and air conditioning equipment, emergency power systems, medical gas distribution and supply systems, food service equipment, and hospital life support systems for direct and indirect patient use. Perform diagnosis and repair equipment in emergency situations, monitor and make adjustments to the building(s) environment and lighting using a computerized building automation system and monitor and make adjustments to computerized, intelligent fire alarm systems. Education: Minimum - High School Diploma or GED Preferred - Two (2) year technical diploma in HVAC, industrial, trades or related field Work Experience: Minimum - Two (2) years of maintenance experience or formal training, Preferred - Two (2) years of maintenance experience or formal training, in a healthcare setting.
