Patient Services Representative

Patient Service Representative AOS Staffing is looking for a Patient Service Representative. This person will work to support the daily administration needs of the hospital. The Medical Office Authorization & Scheduling Specialist is responsible for supporting a multi-provider medical practice by managing prior authorizations, referrals, scheduling, and high-volume patient communications. This role serves as a key liaison between patients, providers, insurance companies, and internal staff to ensure timely access to care, accurate documentation, and efficient daily operations. The position supports a 12-provider practice specializing in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Sleep Medicine. Pay: $17-20 based on experience Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30 pm Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong knowledge of medical office workflows and insurance processes. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Ability to work collaboratively with providers, staff, and external partners. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred experience with Epic EMR; candidates with experience using other EMR systems will be considered. Experience with prior authorizations and insurance verification required. Minimum of 612 months of experience in a call center or high-volume phone environment, preferably within a healthcare setting.
