Senior Project Manager (Confidential) Dallas, Texas - Limited Travel My client is a nationally recognized general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex, high-value projects across North America and internationally. They are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, and Life Science experience based in Dallas, TX. This individual will be responsible for leading large-scale, design-build industrial projects, serving as the primary point of contact for clients while maintaining full accountability for cost, schedule, quality, safety, and profitability. This is a high-impact leadership role suited for a seasoned project executive with a proven track record in managing complex, process-driven facilities. This position offers the opportunity to lead multimillion-dollar projects from pursuit through closeout, mentor project teams, and play a key role in strengthening client relationships within a rapidly growing market sector. Key Responsibilities: Lead all phases of project delivery from preconstruction, proposal development, and contract negotiation through construction, commissioning, and closeout. Maintain full profit and loss accountability across multiple concurrent projects. Serve as the primary client interface, representing the firm in early project discussions, strategy development, and ongoing execution. Oversee design-build delivery, managing engineering, design, construction, and procurement activities. Ensure all contractual terms and conditions are fully understood and executed by project teams and subcontractors. Drive project profitability, identifying opportunities to improve margins beyond initial projections. Manage procurement of materials, equipment, subcontractors, and services while optimizing cost, schedule, and quality. Lead and enforce safety programs, quality management systems, and scheduling standards across projects. Supervise, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and support staff. Oversee change management, cost reporting, schedule updates, and risk mitigation strategies. Coordinate and lead project start-up meetings and ongoing owner, subcontractor, and internal team meetings. Ensure timely documentation of delays, changes, claims, and schedule impacts. Oversee closeout activities, including red files, job cost reports, maintenance manuals, and final turnover documentation. Conduct regular site visits to ensure alignment with project objectives, safety standards, and quality expectations. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline required. 5+ years of experience managing large, complex construction projects, preferably in the food and beverage, manufacturing, life science, or industrial markets preferred. Demonstrated success managing design-build projects across multiple contracting methods, including lump sum, GMP, cost-plus, and fee-based structures. Proven history of full P&L responsibility on multiple projects. Strong understanding of contractual, legal, and financial implications in construction delivery. Ability to evaluate cost, schedule, and scope impacts resulting from design or construction changes. Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and decisive in fast-paced environments. Preferred Experience: Management of projects exceeding $10M in construction value, including at least one project over $50M. Experience with process-driven facilities, including equipment procurement and installation within project scope. Hands-on involvement in proposal development from RFP through final award. Proven ability to develop aggressive schedules and accurate cost estimates for industrial design-build projects. Track record of mentoring and developing high-performing project teams.
