E-Billing Assistant The Columbia, South Carolina office of Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an experienced E-Billing Assistant to join our Accounting team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with 3+ years of electronic billing experience who thrives in a collaborative, service-driven environment. Our Accounting Department supports Nelson Mullins offices nationwide, delivering accurate, timely billing and exceptional client service. In this role, you will manage the full electronic billing lifecyclefrom preparing and submitting LEDES invoices through BillBlast or client-specific e-billing platforms to tracking their progress and resolving any rejections to ensure successful client acceptance. You'll work closely with attorneys and administrative assistants to confirm compliance with client-specific billing requirements, maintaining thorough documentation and upholding the department's high standards for accuracy and responsiveness. You'll be joining a collaborative team that values communication, reliability, and a strong commitment to quality. You are a billing professional who leverages your experience to ensure invoices are prepared and submitted efficiently and accurately. You are proficient in Excel and Outlook, and you communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal interactions. Your ability to manage multiple tasks at oncewhile maintaining exceptional attention to detailsets you apart. You bring strong organizational skills, a commitment to client service, and a high level of professionalism to your work each day. Most importantly, you thrive in a collaborative team environment and are always eager to learn, adapt, and grow. Experience with Aderant, Elite, BillBlast, and common e-billing platforms such as Legal Exchange, CounselLink, TyMetrix 360, and Serengeti is highly valued.
