Summary Description: We are seeking a Finance Architect with a strong foundation in enterprise architecture principles to design, guide, and govern technology solutions across the organization. This role will be responsible for architecting and optimizing solutions across SAP platforms, financial planning, consolidation, and enterprise data & analytics environments. The ideal candidate blends deep functional expertise with strong technical architecture expertise and can translate business strategy into scalable, integrated system solutions. The ideal candidate ensures solutions are scalable, secure, interoperable, and aligned with both business goals and enterprise standards. Essential Job Functions: Cross-Functional Finance Systems Architecture; Design and maintain the end-to-end finance and controlling systems architecture across SAP and integrated platforms; Define target-state architecture and roadmap aligned with finance transformation objectives; Ensure alignment between ERP, planning, consolidation, reporting, and analytics solutions; Establish integration standards, governance, and system interoperability. Integration & Interoperability; Design and oversee integration strategies between SAP systems and other enterprise applications (MES, CRM, IoT, BI/Analytics, third-party platforms), Define API, middleware, and data exchange standards, ensuring data consistency, reliability, and real-time visibility across systems and Evaluate and implement hybrid architectures, supporting both cloud and on-prem environments. Governance & Standards Enforcement; Apply TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture principles, Conduct architecture reviews and audits for projects, ensuring adherence to standards, security, scalability, and maintainability and Establish technical guidelines and best practices for development, integration, and deployment across systems, not limited to SAP. Solution Design & Technical Oversight; Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, considering both SAP and non-SAP systems, Ensure high-quality design across domains: application, data, integration, infrastructure, and security and Provide technical leadership on complex initiatives, including cloud adoption, system modernization, and digital transformation projects. Monitor emerging technologies, tools, and platforms to recommend strategic innovations compatible with SAP and broader enterprise systems. Advise the team regarding the technical and solution architecture of all systems. Skills/Qualifications: Enterprise Architecture & Modeling: Apply TOGAF principles, ArchiMate/UML modeling, and enterprise solution blueprints. SAP-Specific Skills: Deep knowledge of S/4HANA/ECC, key modules (PP, QM, PM, FI/CO, FSCM, etc) Planning and Consolidation Platforms: SAC, BPC, Group Reporting, IBP, etc. Data & Analytics: Datasphere, SAC, Power BI, Cognos, etc Strong working knowledge of SOX and ITGCs Security & Compliance: Implement secure architectures, IAM, and compliance with data protection regulations. Partner Products experience: Blackline, High Radius, Esker, Winshuttle and other related applications Competencies: Ability to work and consult with colleagues as well as individually Analytical ability to synthesize data and report/align on metrics Maintain existing Enterprise Applications by identifying and correcting defects Build relationships with key members of our user community and become a trusted resource with those users Be the go-to resource on all technical questions related to SAP systems Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Business or other related field preferred CPA strongly desired SAP Certification in S4 Finance or related functionality preferred Travel Requirements: Approximately 20% travel required.
