The OSFM is recruiting for a Grants Coordinator (Program Analyst 3). As the Grants Coordinator you will support statewide wildfire resilience and community risk?reduction efforts. In this role, you will lead the administration of several high?impact Community Fire Hardening grant programs, including the Proactive Home Hardening Grant, the Wildfire?Damaged Rebuilding Program, and the County Home Hardening Grant. You will design and manage application workflows, develop program guidance, coordinate with internal and external partners, and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements. Your work will directly support communities recovering from wildfire, strengthen local fire service capacity, and advance Oregon's long?term resilience strategies. As a key member of the OSFM Grants Unit, you will evaluate program performance, prepare reports for agency leadership and the Legislature, and contribute to strategic planning and policy development. You will collaborate with counties, local governments, nonprofit organizations, and property owners to expand access to funding and improve program outcomes. The position also leads audit coordination for all Community Fire Hardening programs and supports statewide outreach, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives. Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years experience coordinating or administering a program. OR Any combination of experience or education equivalent to seven years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification. Desired Attributes: Experience managing complex grant programs, including application workflows, compliance monitoring, auditing, and financial tracking. Ability to analyze data, evaluate program performance, and contribute to strategic planning and policy development supporting wildfire resilience and community risk reduction. Skill in planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects under tight deadlines while ensuring timely milestones and adherence to legislative intent. Skill in communicating effectively in writing and verbally, and ability to build partnerships with diverse stakeholders such as local governments, nonprofits, and private?sector partners. Ability to work in a fast?paced environment with shifting priorities, make independent decisions, and resolve complex issues effectively.
