As a key member of our Maintenance Department, you'll take on responsibilities for repairs, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, systems, and components. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Troubleshooting equipment issues using precision measuring tools and observatory methods. Collaborating with fellow maintenance personnel for both emergency and non-emergency repairs. Repairing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and associated systems. Interpreting blueprints, schematics, user manuals, and engineering specifications. Conducting boiler chemical tests and wastewater pre-treatment checks, logging results, and adjusting chemicals as necessary. Performing routine safety inspections on boilers and executing repairs as needed. Inspecting and maintaining motors, belts, fluid levels, and filters according to established procedures. Engaging in basic welding tasks to repair facilities and equipment. Inspecting, cleaning, and lubricating components according to technical manuals and work procedures. Utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System for tracking tasks. Any additional duties assigned by leadership. Qualifications: What We're Looking For: High school diploma or GED required. A two-year technical degree in a relevant field is preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older. Proven knowledge in industrial maintenance for facilities and equipment. A minimum of 1 year of experience in repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment is required; military experience is also considered. Successful completion of UniFirst's maintenance knowledge assessment is needed for employment eligibility. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics is essential. Capability to comprehend maintenance literature in English is necessary. Basic skills in computer use and Microsoft Office are required. Experience with Lockout/Tagout protocol is essential. Willingness to work overtime as necessary is required. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
