Local Truck Driver - CDL A

What You Need to Succeed: Minimum age of 21 years Valid Class A commercial driver's license Proven safe driving record Ability to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days of employment Pass a DOT drug test with no prior positive tests or refusals in the last 3 years Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or be able to pass a company-paid DOT physical Willing to work a flexible schedule of 12-14 hours a day, including days, nights, and weekends Preferred Qualifications: Forklift experience Possess hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements Pay, Benefits, and More: Enjoy being home daily Competitive pay range from $32.48 to $40.18 per hour; actual pay may vary based on experience Full health insurance benefits starting on day one Life and disability insurance coverage Earn up to 13 days of PTO within your first year 9 paid company holidays 401(k) option with company match Education assistance available This position is exempt from the Motor Carrier Act Daily Responsibilities: Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles and triples Deliver excellent customer service and generate sales leads Load and unload freight efficiently Physical Requirements: Lift and move objects up to 50 lbs frequently and occasionally more than 75 lbs Safely climb in and out of the truck cab and trailer Sit for extended periods while operating the truck Stand and walk for extended periods on various surfaces Perform physical movements including reaching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, and kneeling Drive a tractor-trailer for up to 11 consecutive hours in all weather conditions while transporting hazardous/non-hazardous materials If you do not yet have your CDL-A, learn more about our Driver School.
