Job Description: Senior Consultant for Digital Asset and Blockchain Risk Management Role Summary We are seeking a dynamic Senior Consultant who will play a crucial role in our consulting efforts related to operational, risk, and compliance aspects for blockchain-enabled financial products. In this position, you will work on groundbreaking projects involving stablecoins, tokenized assets, and digital asset infrastructure while developing your expertise in regulatory expectations, risk frameworks, and emerging blockchain technologies. This role is designed to cultivate future leaders within Crowe's digital asset practice. Key Responsibilities Engage in consulting projects focused on stablecoin initiatives, tokenized assets, digital custody, and blockchain-enabled payment systems. Assist in crafting governance frameworks, operating models, and risk management systems tailored to blockchain-centric financial offerings. Develop essential policies, procedures, and documentation to facilitate efficient digital asset operations. Conduct thorough risk assessments, control tests, and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Support regulatory examinations, monitor issues, and implement effective remediation strategies. Assess third-party digital asset service providers, including custody and blockchain analytics firms. Stay informed on blockchain protocols, regulatory updates, and emerging risks within the digital asset landscape. Contribute to the creation of internal tools and knowledge databases for team development. Collaborate with senior team members to ensure high-quality outcomes for our clients. Required Experience & Qualifications A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in professional services, banking, fintech, or regulated financial industries. Familiarity with digital assets and blockchain technology through roles in consulting, risk management, compliance, or auditing. Fundamental understanding of blockchain technology, distributed ledger systems, and digital assets. Experience in risk management and compliance initiatives within regulated environments. Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills. A capacity for learning and adapting to regulatory frameworks and emerging expectations. Preferred Experience Experience in financial institutions or fintech companies engaged in digital asset or payment projects. Familiarity with blockchain analytics, transaction monitoring, or compliance tools specific to digital assets. Prior consulting or advisory experience. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, technology, or related fields is preferred; relevant professional experience is also considered. Relevant courses, certifications, or self-learning about blockchain, digital assets, or financial regulation.
