Your Role: As a Director in the Finance Function Strategy team, you will evaluate finance operations and provide strategic recommendations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs and Controllers, addressing complex challenges and delivering innovative solutions that improve financial outcomes, streamline operations, and manage risks effectively. Your Key Responsibilities Include: Conduct thorough analyses of clients' key performance indicators and business processes to reveal enhancement opportunities, focusing on areas such as treasury, financial reporting, accounting, financial planning, budgeting, capital management, and risk controls. Guide organizations in achieving strategic goals while navigating complex challenges through effective finance strategy and operations. Engage in business development efforts, including crafting proposals and presentations to promote PwC's Finance Function Strategy services and expand our client base. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree A minimum of 9 years of relevant experience Preferred Skills: Field(s) of study: Accounting & Finance, Finance, Finance & Technology, Information Technology, Data Analytics Certifications such as CPA, Certified Treasury Professional, or Chartered Financial Analyst are preferred Thorough understanding of the finance value chain and related technology. Experience with financial models, business cases, and benchmarking analyses Ability to thrive in uncertain environments to deliver exceptional results that meet client demands Skilled in analyzing complex datasets to extract meaningful insights Demonstrated ability to innovate and contribute to thought leadership in the finance sector Strong communication skills, with a flair for impactful presentations Robust analytical skills to evaluate qualitative and quantitative data Ability to cultivate a collaborative team environment while exceeding client expectations. Familiarity with digital technologies in finance, including analytical tools like OneSource, Anaplan, Workiva, Blackline, Alteryx, PowerBi, Tableau, RPA technologies, machine learning, and generative AI. The salary range for this position is: $155,000 - $410,000. Actual compensation will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
