Position: Customer Service Representative - Part Time Shift: First / Day, Second / Afternoon, Third / Night Reports To: Store Manager Position Description Summary: As a Customer Service Associate at Cubby's, providing exceptional customer service is our top priority. Our role extends beyond simply handling transactions; we are committed to creating positive experiences for our customers. Responsibilities include: Greet all customers warmly upon their arrival or on the phone. Build rapport by learning customer names and preferences. Make every customer feel appreciated and valued. Deliver quick and efficient service. Engage in suggestive selling when appropriate. Thank customers sincerely for their patronage and encourage them to return. We believe our business thrives on customer satisfaction, and it is essential to focus 100% on their needs. Additional Responsibilities Include: Cleaning & Housekeeping: Inside Ensure restrooms are clean and well-stocked. Empty and clean trash cans, keeping them discreetly tucked. Maintain clean and clear windows and doors. Sweep and mop floors to keep them free of debris. Clean coolers and shelves of spills and stains. Ensure merchandise and display areas are clean and dust-free. Cleaning & Housekeeping: Outside Sweep the parking lot to eliminate trash and debris. Keep exterior windows and doors clean and enticing. Empty and maintain the cleanliness of outdoor trash cans. Merchandising Stock and organize all merchandise effectively. Ensure all items are appropriately priced and visible. Maintain the freshness of coffee and beverages. Miscellaneous Assist in checking in vendors and gas deliveries. Be proficient in operating point of sale and lottery machines. Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will also demonstrate: A friendly and enthusiastic demeanor. Respectful communication with all team members and customers. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. A proactive approach to customer service. Dependability; punctuality is crucial. Professional Image: Our professional standards include: Wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag at all times. Maintaining cleanliness and proper hygiene. Refraining from personal phone use while on duty. Position Requirements: Candidates must be physically fit and able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods. Responsibilities may require working in a cooler at temperatures around 32 degrees. The ability to lift up to 25 lbs is necessary, along with basic math skills and proficiency in English communication.
