Responsibilities of Registered Nurses (RNs) Administer medications as per physician orders Conduct physician-ordered treatments for: Nutrition via feeding tubes Tracheostomy care Suctioning (nasal, oral, and/or endotracheal) Ventilation care Seizure assessment and treatment Requirements for Registered Nurses (RNs) Active Florida RN license Current BLS CPR certification (obtained in-person, not online) Experience with G-tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators, or willingness to learn TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF) Complete a 2-hour Alzheimer's training course (cost covered if needed) Watch a 1-hour DOEA Alzheimer's training video (available free online) About Care Options for Kids As the leading provider of pediatric nursing services, Care Options for Kids aims to deliver high-quality care that empowers children and families to thrive.
