Job Description

Join a dedicated team providing occupational therapy services aimed at enhancing patients' functional independence across various age groups, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. This role involves comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, implementation, and thorough documentation to support patient progress. Education & Certification Must hold current OT/L licensure from the appropriate state board. FIM credentialing is required within the first 45 days of employment, with a minimum proficiency score of 80%. Candidates will have three attempts to pass the credentialing exam. Experience & Skills Proven professional competency as a general occupational therapist is essential. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to foster cooperative relationships with patients and colleagues. Effective communication in English, both written and verbal, is required. Physical & Clinical Requirements Ability to communicate clearly, read, write, hear, and visually assess patient conditions is critical. Candidates must demonstrate proper body mechanics during patient care, including transferring and transporting patients of varying weights. Frequent standing, bending, stooping, lifting, turning, twisting, sitting, and walking are part of daily duties. Proficiency in using and manipulating therapy equipment is expected. Training & Compliance All clinical staff must complete Evacuation Training and training related to Restraint, Seclusion, and Safety Devices. Ongoing compliance with these trainings is mandatory.
