Job Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and senior demographics utilizing established assessment protocols and observation-based methods. Formulate individualized treatment strategies that meet both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals. Deliver targeted speech therapy services addressing various communication aspects, including language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing capabilities. Engage collaboratively with occupational and physical therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to devise integrated care plans. Educate patients and their families to support progress and application of skills in their daily lives. Participate in occasional inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure comprehensive care for all patients. Ensure all documentation is precise and aligns with both local and national regulatory standards. Commit to continuous professional development through updated training and active collaboration with peers. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if pending ASHA certification. Preferred Certifications Current state licensure as a Speech Pathologist. ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
