Job Description: Crowe is excited to welcome a Senior Loan Review Consultant to lead credit risk consulting projects for diverse clients in the financial services sector. In this vital role, you will: Deliver comprehensive loan review services and specialized consulting on credit-related matters. Conduct in-depth financial analyses, including cash flow modeling and collateral evaluations, identifying potential credit risks. Assess commercial loan requests for compliance with bank policies and procedures. Perform systematic loan reviews of business-related credits to evaluate credit quality, documentation, credit administration, and adherence to established policies. Collaborate with a manager on credit projects while taking initiative in various independent aspects of the work. Support a variety of financial institutions across diverse geographies. Guide segments of client engagements, enhancing your leadership skills and building relationships with key executives. Draft and present thorough and insightful reports with actionable recommendations for clients. Qualifications: Educational and Professional Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 3 years of experience working within financial institutions or regulatory supervisory organizations. Graduate degree or professional certification (e.g., RMA CRC) is a plus. Preferred Knowledge and Skills: Experience in leveraged lending, capital call, subscription loans, venture lending, or Asset-Based Lending (ABL) is highly desirable, though not mandatory. Background in underwriting, lending, or regulatory compliance - we are not seeking consumer finance experience. Familiarity with a wide range of loan products and industries. Working knowledge of SBA SOP is advantageous. Understanding credit processes, including loan origination and underwriting, credit policies, portfolio management, and loan review is beneficial. Strong awareness of federal and state banking laws relevant to credit risk. Previous experience with risk ratings and methodologies is a plus. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage clients and teams in diverse settings and formats. Demonstrated progression in responsibilities, including oversight of others' work and project management across multiple tasks. A self-motivated individual who can manage competing priorities, utilizing resourcefulness and research skills to find solutions. A passion for learning, achieving goals, and contributing to team success. Willingness to travel as required. While the current estimate falls within $74,100.00 - $147,800.00 per year, individual compensation depends on specific circumstances.
