KPMG is excited to invite applications for the position of Senior Associate in our Audit and Assurance practice. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, expanding your skill set and gaining unique insights while serving clients in the Oil & Gas/Energy sectors. Enhance your expertise in a data-centric internal audit process throughout the project lifecycle, achieving high-impact performance results. Work alongside senior client personnel and KPMG Advisory professionals to design tailored audit programs, prepare working papers, and generate comprehensive internal audit reports. Assist in formulating strategies for client risk assessments and annual audit plans, actively supporting the implementation of these strategies. Build relationships with engagement managers and subject-matter experts to broaden your network and knowledge areas. Identify and communicate opportunities for performance improvement and best practices to client personnel and senior management, collaborating with partners to foster practice management, resource allocation, and career development for staff. Establish your internal audit expertise through continuous participation in the development and dissemination of thought leadership and service offerings. Maintain strong, collaborative professional relationships with clients and project teams to ensure consistently high performance results. Qualifications: A minimum of three years of experience in internal or external audits, handling projects from initiation to completion. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field; certifications such as CIA, CPA, or CPM are preferred. Demonstrated understanding of trends, challenges, and strategic value of Internal Audit in the Oil & Gas industry. Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley/SOX compliance; familiarity with COSO 2013 is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office and experience with analytics tools (Power BI, Alteryx, QlikView, or Tableau) is preferred. Willingness to travel 25 to 50% (up to 80-100% at times). Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
