GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE The Lead Cash Management Associate (LC) plays a crucial role in ensuring that transactions are efficient and cashwrap standards are top-notch, with a focus on cleanliness and aesthetics. With experience in cashier operations, the LC will assist in onboarding new staff and facilitate cross-training among team members. This role is vital in driving loyalty metrics, emphasizing guest experience, sales performance, and staying aligned with operational procedures. The Lead Cash Management Associate will also support management with cash register operations and team oversight, ensuring an outstanding customer experience and promoting a culture of excellence. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Job Functions) The LC will embody Ulta Beauty's mission and values consistently by performing the following duties: Performance Help achieve store goals in retail sales, guest loyalty, and operational success. Ensure exceptional guest service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, personalizing service, and recommending products. Process sales, refunds, and exchanges promptly and courteously. Facilitate connections between guests and associates for services like makeup applications and product demonstrations. Assist in scheduling appointments and executing store events for an enriched guest experience. Maintain organized cashwrap displays and ensure readiness for all guest interactions. Exhibit reliable attendance. People Foster an inclusive environment for teammates and guests alike. Support the management team with cashier procedures and associate inspections. Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge for enhanced guest interactions. Promote our loyalty program and drive engagement among the team and guests. Assist in training new cashiers and cross-train other associates as required. Lead by example to encourage productivity and guest-focused service among peers. Provide continuous coaching on delivering a personalized Ulta Beauty experience. Engage in ongoing training to enhance skills and sales performance. Collaborate with team members to drive business growth. Process Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty's policies and procedures. Adhere to the dress code as outlined. Complete all transaction types accurately, ensuring cash control and compliance with procedures. Assist with register opening and closing as instructed by management. Maintain store standards of cleanliness and organization throughout all areas. Protect company assets by adhering to safety and loss prevention protocols. Perform additional operational tasks as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education High school diploma preferred. Experience 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education preferred. Strong ability to multi-task and resolve problems. Demonstrated knowledge and enthusiasm for guest service and sales. Experience handling guest inquiries and providing exceptional service. Proven history of exceeding sales targets and onboarding new associates. Skills Proficient in using technology, including POS systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities. Capable of working independently and as part of a team. Adept at building and maintaining customer relationships. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations. SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. WORKING CONDITIONS Mobility throughout the store is required during shifts. Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching are necessary. Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 lbs. Frequent coordination and manipulation of objects during shifts.
