Overview & Responsibilities Are you a current Junior or Senior in college looking for an exciting internship opportunity in Finance or Business? Look no further! Republic Finance is eager to welcome interns into our Branch Operations program! As a Branch Operations Intern, you'll have the chance to engage in the daily workings of a branch while gaining insight into our larger organization and the various career paths available. You will collaborate with team members and leaders, gaining hands-on experience and learning about day-to-day operations, our unique sales and customer service philosophy (the Republic Way), compliance training, loan closing processes, and leadership development. You'll also be involved in branch operations projects that may span multiple departments within the company. Our mission is to build upon the foundational concepts from your college coursework while guiding you towards a fulfilling career with Republic Finance after graduation! Please note: This position requires full-time onsite participation. We offer our Branch Operations Interns an hourly pay of $15.00, with the objective of providing full-time employment post-graduation upon successful completion of the program! As a Branch Operations Intern, you will: Receive training to become licensed and participate in an accelerated Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn about the loan process and necessary regulatory requirements. Assist with daily operations related to loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings, including file allocation for documentation preparation, auditing closed files, and preparing files for funding. Engage with your Manager and Regional Vice President to understand their responsibilities and gain insights into promotional paths available within Republic Finance. Attend regional meetings and workshops (as available during your internship) to gain exposure to the broader Branch Operations division. Contribute to one or more process improvement projects related to Branch Operations, which will be determined in collaboration with the Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President during your tenure. Explore corporate roles where prior branch experience is highly valued (e.g., Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting, etc.). We will also provide an overview of our employee benefits during your internship. Requirements: Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field. Ideal candidates should be eager to learn, enthusiastic, reliable, and possess a strong work ethic. Must be able to commit to a minimum of 18-20 hours per week. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen. Ability to satisfy eligibility requirements for insurance licensing necessary to sell voluntary insurance products, based on criminal background checks conducted by the state's department of insurance.
