Maintenance Mechanic III (Journeyman Plumber Experience) Start time is flexible between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. for 8-hour shifts. This position requires expert-level plumbing skills along with a working knowledge of other building trades. Your responsibilities will include: Providing technical guidance to helpers, workers, and mechanics during maintenance operations. Assisting the Supervisor in identifying optimal maintenance methods and system operations. Working independently with minimal supervision while determining maintenance needs and responding appropriately. A strong customer service orientation is essential for success in this role. Minimum Job Requirements: Associate's Degree (Required) 3 - 4 years of experience in a related field (Required) Mechanical/electrical background with familiarity in repair and maintenance tools and terms Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals Equivalent relevant experience is acceptable in lieu of minimum education. Utilize appropriate techniques and personal protective equipment to perform work safely and effectively. Apply your technical skills to fulfill work requests comprehensively and responsibly. Working Conditions: This position involves activities such as bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), pushing and pulling, and requires frequent interaction and communication.
