Job Description

Join Our Team as an Industrial Electrician! We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our team at Accurate Castings Inc., a multi-foundry organization that operates a specialized casting cleaning facility, pattern shop, and machining operation under the name Hiler Industries. In this role, you will be essential in maintaining three-phase 480v electrical equipment and mechanically related systems across multiple manufacturing facilities. Key Responsibilities: Interpret blueprints, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics to understand and improve process operations. Work collaboratively with a team to install conduit and pull wires, ensuring projects are completed effectively. Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on various equipment and control systems such as: 3-phase motors Emergency generator controls Automatic transfer switches Relay controls and programmable control systems Schneider PLCs and drives AC/DC drive frequency controllers Pneumatic and hydraulic controls Inspect and repair defective components, replacing worn parts as needed, and ensuring all installations are defect-free. Utilize tools and test equipment to diagnose faulty equipment and effectively troubleshoot malfunctions. Innovate and refine industrial devices, circuits, and process controls to enhance operational efficiency. Coordinate with management, coworkers, engineers, and contractors to solve problems proactively. Maintain and manage inventory of spare control parts effectively. Be prepared for occasional early morning, evening, night, weekend, or holiday shifts as needed for repairs and project demands. Safety Commitment: Prioritize safety for yourself and your coworkers at all times. Adhere to all safety procedures, including Lock Out / Tag Out, Arc Flash protocols, and appropriate PPE. Wear safety glasses and steel-toed shoes in designated manufacturing areas. Be able to use a respirator and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Work safely from scissor lifts and elevated platforms when required. Required Skills and Knowledge: Expertise in electric and electronic systems, including powered industrial systems and components. Proficient in computer hardware and software, with an understanding of relevant applications and programming. Solid foundation in mechanical principles, including machinery, tools, repair, and maintenance. Familiarity with design techniques and tools for creating technical plans and schematics. Cognitive Abilities: Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset. Effective verbal and written communication skills. A proactive approach to self-learning and mentoring others. Able to balance high-level prioritization with detail-oriented tasks. Flexible and open to collaborative ideas and feedback. Capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Accountable for actions and their results. Exceptional organizational skills. Qualifications: Completion of a minimum of two (2) years of vocational school training or related field of study.
