Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Ambulatory CareSpecialty: Ambulatory Shift: Day Shift - 5x8 Hours (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an Ambulatory Care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong acute care experience and the ability to function independently with minimal orientation and supervision. Required Experience: Ambulatory Care experience Surgical experience Experience in one or more of the following specialties: Burn Colorectal Thoracic General Surgery Trauma Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within the past 2 years) in a hospital of similar size and acuity Travelers must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers EPIC EMR experience preferred Telemetry and Triage experience preferred Ambulatory / Primary Care experience preferred Medical coding / insurance review knowledge preferred Certifications & Licensure: Current New York State RN Registration BLS Certification (must be current and eligible for recertification) Additional certifications may be required based on specialty, including but not limited to: ACLS NNLS EFM PALS TNCC ENPC Key Responsibilities: Perform the majority of patient care skills independently Conduct strong nursing assessments in an acute care ambulatory setting Deliver specialty-focused care with minimal supervision Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR For more details reach at sthakur@or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807.
