Segra is on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Field Construction Technician to join our team. If you're passionate about overseeing construction activities and ensuring top-notch quality on work sites, this might be the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you will supervise construction contractors, manage various projects simultaneously, and report directly to the Construction Manager and/or Project Manager. Your expertise will help guarantee that all projects adhere to scheduled timelines and maintained quality standards. The position requires being part of a 24/7 on-call rotation, which adds a layer of excitement and responsibility. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in fiber, telecommunications, right-of-way, or a related construction field. Strong capability in leading a crew to ensure projects meet schedule, customer expectations, and budget guidelines. Thorough understanding of construction and permitting blueprints. Experience in monitoring and reporting inventory/material usage during the construction cycle. Ability to identify and troubleshoot construction issues, providing safe and timely solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and planning skills to effectively manage multiple tasks. Willingness to travel as needed, including overnight and daily trips. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel formulations, Word, and Outlook.
