The Clinical Operations Associate Manager will oversee, mentor, and manage Clinical Directors within their designated market. This role is vital in achieving center performance objectives, contributing to growth, and nurturing a positive workplace culture while also dedicating time to direct patient care as a PCP. Key Responsibilities: Oversee clinical outcomes and daily operations management for Medical Directors across multiple centers with regular onsite presence. Ensure clinical operations are successful and meet or exceed market financial goals. Mentor and coach Medical Directors to deliver exceptional clinical results. Facilitate talent development for PCPs, NPs, and Medical Directors through practice leadership and performance management. Promote a center-level physician culture that aligns with ChenMed's core values and service standards. Support new practitioner training within assigned centers. Participate in recruiting and interviewing for PCP and specialist positions. Collaborate with Clinical COE and Talent Acquisition to enhance the clinical talent pipeline. Build and maintain successful relationships with payers, specialists, community leaders, and hospitals. Monitor market culture and respond proactively to workplace concerns. Review and approve center-level referrals and manage market utilization authorizations. Additional Responsibilities: Assist with market quality and performance improvement initiatives. Conduct monthly scorecard reviews and quarterly clinical metric analysis with Clinical Leadership. Provide training to other ChenMed entities as needed. Develop strong professional relationships within the market. Utilize knowledge of local market dynamics to drive clinical initiatives. Implement cost-reduction and clinical strategies effectively. Deliver superior clinical outcomes and patient service as a PCP (20% of role). Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a similar specialty required. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required; 3 years is preferred. Preferred experience as a Medical Director or equivalent, particularly with Medicare or Medicaid populations. Board eligibility required; board certification in a related specialty preferred. Active medical license in designated state is required. Proven track record as a high-performing clinical leader. Experience in population risk management or complex chronic disease care management preferred. Familiarity with interdisciplinary teams in quality improvement and healthcare leadership is beneficial.
