Your Role on the Team As a Field Service Technician at Invitation Homes, you will be pivotal in delivering outstanding maintenance service across our single-family rental homes. Your responsibilities will include: Implementing maintenance service requests across various trades. Delivering exceptional customer service to enhance the living experience of residents. Conducting regular proactive maintenance and repairs during ProCare visits in residents' homes. Educating residents on maintenance-related topics to promote their understanding and engagement. Performing general property assessments during visits and notifying property management of urgent issues. Utilizing Technician-specific reports to identify and implement improvement opportunities. Completing repairs in vacant properties during the market phase or turn process. Caring for and correctly using company-supplied tools, materials, and vehicles. Performing other related tasks as assigned. Your Experience Includes High School diploma or equivalent. OSHA 10 certification required (new hires must complete within 90 days if not already certified). Experience in residential repairs, maintenance, or related building maintenance. Basic understanding of residential construction and mechanical systems; ability to perform repairs in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, sheetrock, HVAC (minor), and appliance handling. Training will be provided where needed. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities; bilingual skills are a plus. Comfort with mobile devices (like iPads and iPhones) and various mobile applications. Valid driver's license and automobile insurance, along with any other licenses or certifications required by state law. The following certifications are preferred but not mandatory: EPA Certification, Type I and II. HVAC Certification. CPO certification (pool). Availability to work regularly including weekends and holidays as needed. Possession of basic hand and power tools. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent climbing, reaching, standing, kneeling, crawling, lifting and operating maintenance equipment. May be involved in occupancy checks and attending eviction lockouts/setouts in coordination with local law enforcement. Salary Range The salary for this position ranges from $20.19 to $35.00, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will be based on individual skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
