Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Urgent Care Discipline: Nurse Practitioner Duration: 24 weeks Shift: 12 hours, days, evenings Employment Type: Locum Tenens Locum Tenens - NP/PA (Urgent Care) FastMed Urgent Care - North Carolina $95-$105/hr FastMed Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high quality care in a fast paced outpatient setting. Providers will manage a full spectrum of urgent care needs and work collaboratively with onsite clinical teams. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments, including history and physical exams Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and infections Order and interpret X rays, EKGs, and laboratory studies Prescribe medications and develop evidence based treatment plans Perform minor procedures: suturing, splinting, incision & drainage Educate patients on care plans and follow up Document all encounters in EPIC Collaborate with onsite physicians and clinical staff Qualifications Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program Active North Carolina license Board certified FNP (or equivalent for PAs) BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred Minimum 1 year of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience About TheraEX Staffing Services TheraEx Staffing Services is a leading name in healthcare staffing solutions.
