The successful candidate will be a nationally recognized leader in the field, with a strong commitment to the academic mission and the ability to enhance the Division's research program. This leadership role requires the implementation of innovative care models to improve the efficiency and quality of patient care, as well as the development of the Division as a premier learning environment for medical professionals. The Chief will be responsible for guiding a large faculty, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment, and ensuring the Division's continued growth and success. Candidates for the Chief of Nephrology position at the company must be highly collaborative, inspirational, and dynamic leaders with a proven track record in academic medical settings. The role demands a leader with experience in fostering scholarly activity, advancing clinical care models, and providing innovative leadership in medical education. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional clinical background and experience in leading multidisciplinary teams. A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Medicine/Doctor of Philosophy (M.D./Ph.D.) degree from an accredited school of medicine, board certification in nephrology, and academic accomplishments that warrant a faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or higher are required.
