Deliver dedicated one-on-one therapy aimed at communication enhancements, language development, fluency improvement, voice training, and swallowing rehabilitation. Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team - including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families - to forge integrated care approaches. Provide educational resources to patients and families to bolster progress beyond the confines of the clinic. Support occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to maintain a consistent care trajectory. Ensure meticulous and punctual documentation that adheres to state, federal, and organizational standards. Stay abreast of the latest innovations in the field through continuous learning and collaborative discussions among peers. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if ASHA-certified credentials are still pending. Certifications Hold a valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred certification is the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Required to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first 30 days of employment. Skills Expertise in evidence-based therapies applicable to all age groups, underpinned by a solid comprehension of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
