Quality Tech

Weyerhaeuser Company is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician. This is an hourly position that is part of the Engineered Wood Products and reports to the Technical Director at Evergreen manufacturing facility, located in Castleberry AL. The Quality Assurance Technician is accountable for the continuous monitoring of the quality of products and the optimization of the product and process in response to current operating conditions. The QA Tech analyzes and interprets data, evaluates performance and reliability of processes/products, and provides immediate feedback and recommendations on problems and opportunities. This individual should be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision while establishing effective relationships with production and maintenance teams. The QA Tech serves as the leader for his/her production team when the shift supervisor is unavailable. Starting pay: $23.64 per hour
