Sr. Telecom BIM Designer

A Sr. Telecom BIM Designer to support the development of fully coordinated, constructable design deliverables for complex telecom projects. In this role, you'll lead the setup and management of Revit BIM models while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to produce clash-free 3D models and detailed 2D construction drawings. This is an opportunity to apply your expertise in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD within a highly integrated design environment, ensuring consistency and quality in alignment with company and client standards.Required: High school graduate or equivalentAt least 8 years of Revit BIM design experienceProficiency with NavisWorksAt least 4 years of relevant experience in telecommunications systems design and construction industryUnderstanding of how codes and standards shape design decisionsUnderstanding of design and construction specifications and their functionUnderstanding of wiring/cabling connections in relation to a circuit or a link between devices and equipmentExperience following client design and modeling standardsProficiency with Bluebeam or similar markup softwareEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to estimate hours required for design and modeling efforts based on provided markups and/or verbal direction requestsWillingness to learn Preferred: At least 6 years of Revit MEP design experienceKnowledge & application of telecommunications industry association (TIA) standardsKnowledge and design experience of semiconductor and/or advance facility environmentsKnowledge and design experience with paging, intercom, and audio-visual systemsKnowledge and design experience with life safety and security systems, fire alarm, access control, closed-circuit television (CCTV)Knowledge of control systems and network components and topology Job Responsibilities: Support the development of fully coordinated, constructable design deliverables for complex telecommunications projects.Lead the setup, management, and maintenance of Revit BIM models.Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination across design disciplines.Produce clash-free 3D models and detailed 2D construction drawings.Utilize Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to develop and manage design documentation.Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality in accordance with company and client standards.
