Overview: Department: Respiratory Therapy Facility: Resurrection Medical Center Location: 7435 W Talcott Ave, Chicago, IL 60631 Schedule: 12-hour nights, non-exempt Sign-On Bonus: $15,000.00 Are you a dedicated and skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) seeking an opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives? Join our team at Resurrection Medical Center, where you will provide high-quality respiratory care and pulmonary therapy. Your role will involve mechanical ventilation management, pulmonary diagnostics, airway management, and emergency response, all while ensuring accurate documentation of care. Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional respiratory care and pulmonary therapy according to physician orders. Manage mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway management with expertise. Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, ensuring precise assessments. Conduct comprehensive pulmonary diagnostic procedures and patient assessments. Implement tailored patient-specific care plans to enhance patient outcomes. Thoroughly document patient care, interventions, and outcomes. Act as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor, guiding operations on your shift. Respond promptly to critical care situations and emergencies. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care. Qualifications: State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License is required. Current BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintenance of the certification. Preferred: 2 years of experience as a RCP. ACLS certification within 60 days of hire and maintenance of certification. NRP certification preferred. PALS certification within 60 days of hire and maintenance of certification. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. The estimated compensation for this role ranges from $33.50 to $45.09, determined by factors such as skill set, experience, education, and credentials.
