Overview We seek an experienced Customer Engagement Manager to join our iLottery presales team. In this role, you will be an opportunity hunter, relationship builder, and strategist, responsible for developing early-stage opportunities and leading key strategic initiatives. Your focus will be on engaging customers ahead of RFPs, gathering critical insights into their needs and priorities, and collaborating with sales, product, technical, and executive teams to shape effective win strategies. You'll play a vital part in ensuring that our organization is competitive and well-informed long before solicitations are issued. Responsibilities Strategic Opportunity Qualification: Identify, monitor, and track potential opportunities ahead of formal RFPs, analyzing market signals, customer priorities, procurement cycles, and competitive dynamics. Discovery & Needs Assessment: Accumulate valuable business intelligence through customer meetings, industry events, and benchmarking sessions to refine our strategy. Participate in customer engagement activities such as capability presentations and product demos. Travel is required. Value Engineering: Assess opportunities based on customer alignment, competitive landscape, and anticipated ROI; prepare go/no-go recommendations for leadership consideration. Solution Planning and Design: Ensure consistent communication and strategic alignment across sales, product, technical, and leadership teams to meet the operational and strategic goals of prospective Lottery organizations. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Represent the voice of the prospect and help develop win themes, differentiators, and value propositions alongside cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with customer requirements. Win Theme Development: Offer strategic direction to proposal teams, ensuring clear messaging, compliance, and high-quality submissions delivered in a timely manner. Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate relationships with senior stakeholders at prospective Lottery organizations, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the pre-sales process. Success In This Role Will Look Like Increased volume and quality of qualified early-stage opportunities in the pipeline. Enhanced win rates through effective customer engagement and strategic planning. Delivery of high-quality, compelling proposals that clearly articulate our value and competitive advantages. Qualifications Industry Knowledge: Extensive understanding of ilottery market strategies, licensing processes, and regulatory environments. Capture Management: Proven experience leading proposal teams and understanding compliance needs and competitive positioning. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with experience in evaluating customer needs and market trends, with proficiency in CRM tools and opportunity frameworks. Experience: Minimum of 6 years in customer development, business development, or related fields; a bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience is required. This means compensation can vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $90,746 - $200,000, with potential for higher or lower based on individual qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive Total Rewards program including commission for sales roles, 401(k) with company contributions, various insurances, wellness programs, and more, subject to eligibility requirements.
