As a Registered Nurse in our MedSurg/Neurology unit, you will deliver patient-centered care in alignment with departmental standards and practices. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting patient assessments during admissions and each shift, identifying and reporting changes in patient condition. Performing medical procedures and documenting care in patients' medical records, including administering medications and monitoring responses. Providing exceptional patient care by being responsive and anticipating patient needs. Educating patients and families on medical conditions, treatments, and follow-ups, ensuring clarity and understanding. What You Need: Graduate from an accredited nursing program. If hired after June 1, 2012, a BSN must be obtained within 24 months of hire. Minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital experience in the last three years is required. Experience in Neuroscience is preferred. Current Texas RN license or compact license. Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
