Certified Dental Assistant

We are seeking a qualified, dependable, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. This role is essential to delivering high-quality care and creating a welcoming, efficient experience for our patients. Bilingual (English/Spanish/Pashto) candidates are highly preferred, as a large portion of our patient population is Spanish-speaking. The ideal candidate is organized, works well in a team, takes feedback well, and is committed to maintaining a smooth and professional clinical environment.ResponsibilitiesWelcome patients into the treatment area and help them feel comfortable and at easeAssist the dentist during exams and procedures efficiently and attentivelyPrepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and materials are sterilized and readyExplain treatment plans and post-care instructions clearly, answering patient questions as neededMaintain cleanliness and adhere to all health, safety, and infection control protocolsSupport scheduling and administrative tasks as needed to keep the office running smoothlyCommunicate effectively with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flowQualificationsAssociate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferredBilingual in English and Spanish/Pashto strongly preferredStrong communication and patient service skillsAbility to stay organized, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentComfortable receiving feedback and working collaboratively as part of a team
