The Opportunity As the Director, you will be a tech-savvy trade advisor, focusing on digital solutions to enhance productivity. Your responsibilities will include establishing strategic objectives for the team, driving business development initiatives, cultivating executive-level client relationships, and mentoring emerging leaders in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Define and streamline the strategic vision for the Customs and Trade team. Lead initiatives to expand business services and outreach. Build and nurture senior-level client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and collaboration. Mentor and develop future leaders within the team. Foster a culture of collaboration that encourages technological advancement and team growth. Ensure compliance with professional standards and PwC's organizational policies. Champion digitization and automation in trade advisory services. Leverage industry insights to deliver innovative client solutions. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. 8 years of relevant experience. Credentials such as a customs broker license or relevant trade association membership are a plus. Deep expertise in guiding clients on compliance with international trade regulations and optimizing trade operations. What Sets You Apart: A Master's Degree in Economics or Public Administration is preferred. Extensive knowledge of trade compliance and customs regulations. Ability to conduct thorough corporate and international trade research. Experience in market analysis and industry-specific research. Proven ability to implement compliance strategies and conduct market assessments. Strategic insight into managing audits by trade authorities. Exceptional relationship-building skills with clients. Strong aptitude for preparing and presenting complex documentation effectively. Demonstrated leadership in defining and communicating a strategic vision. The salary range for this position is: $150,000 - $438,000. Actual compensation will be commensurate with individual skills, experience, qualifications, and location. All candidates hired will be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. PwC offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, holiday pay, vacation, and sick leave.
