Certified Nurse Midwife Hospitalist for Women's Health

Join our team at Saint Peter's University Hospital as a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) Hospitalist specializing in Labor & Delivery and Post-Execution OB/GYN services. We are looking for a dedicated CNM who is ready to make a difference in women's health. The Certified Nurse Midwife will: Work independently while collaborating with attending physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide exceptional midwifery services. Be responsible for comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of midwifery care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, including newborns. Provide quality medical care across varied shifts in Labor and Delivery and the PET Unit. Care for intrapartum patients alongside the Ob/Gyn physician team as needed. Requirements: Graduation from an accredited nurse-midwifery education program recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME). A Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing. Current CDS and DEA certifications required. Active certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board, or actively seeking certification to obtain it upon eligibility. Current, active licensure to practice as a Certified Nurse Midwife in New Jersey. STABLE Program Certification is preferred. Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) is mandatory. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association are required. Completion of NRP certification I required, with NRP II to be obtained during clinical orientation. Schedule: 10 & 12-hour shifts (days & nights) with a rotating schedule. No call duties!
