Important Details This Engineering role is available for various experience levels including Entry, Mid-level, and Senior Engineers. The salary ranges for each level are as follows: Entry-Level: $85,000 Mid-Level: $90,000 - $110,000 Senior Level: $117,000 - $143,000 These ranges are annual salaries based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Primary Purpose of Position This position involves advanced technical and engineering problem-solving in support of nuclear plant operations, where you will be responsible for making technical decisions while leveraging your extensive knowledge of engineering principles and relevant codes and regulations. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Deliver technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs. Actively consult and collaborate to identify and resolve equipment and system issues. Oversee engineering tasks and ensure proper task management. Execute engineering assignments as directed by supervision, adhering to engineering principles. Ensure that all work is accurate, complete, and timely, maintaining proper configuration management while complying with design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes. Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical initiatives. Recommend and introduce new equipment, concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, streamline operations, reduce costs, and maintain compliance with regulatory changes. Fulfill additional assignments and responsibilities as required by management, including emergency response and supporting outage activities outside your department. Minimum Qualifications for Entry Level Engineer Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear). Meet minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements as applicable, passing necessary medical examinations and/or testing. Minimum Qualifications for Mid-Level Engineer Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with two years of nuclear or related engineering experience. Meet minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements as applicable, passing necessary medical examinations and/or testing. Minimum Qualifications for Senior Engineer Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with five years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience. Meet minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements as applicable, passing necessary medical examinations and/or testing. Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer Registration. Advanced technical degree or relevant coursework.
