The unit primarily treats stroke patients, comprising 40% of the caseload. Therapists will handle a maximum of 5 patients per day. Typically, the workload consists of 3 to 4 patients per day for 90 minutes each. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. There are no weekend or call requirements. Therapists may be required to float to other facilities as needed. Blocked schedules are already in place, with therapists working Monday through Friday. The Flu Shot is mandatory, unless medically exempted. Covid Vaccine is not required. Candidates must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility for submission. Two references from managers or charge nurses within the past two years are required for each candidate. Certifications should be listed on the application at the time of submittal. Previous probationary actions on licenses will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
