SHIFT SNA - Shift 2 (10%) POSITION OVERVIEW The CNC Operator position is essential for the production of medical devices. In this role, you will operate and perform basic setups on CNC 2 and 3 Axis machines, efficiently identifying X, Y, Z, and 0 coordinates. You will be responsible for running multiple CNC machines such as Lathes, EDM Wire, and Plunge machines, while also utilizing manual machine tools to cut, drill, shape, and finish high-quality products, with some supervision. Experience with CNC machining in a manufacturing setting is required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Report directly to the area Supervisor. Perform basic machining functions to produce high-precision parts. Operate multiple machines simultaneously with efficiency. Monitor machine performance to ensure proper program execution. Complete shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets accurately. Make offsets and adjustments to machines with moderate supervision. Advocate for health and safety, prioritizing the well-being of self and others. Support quality and compliance by adhering to all Quality Management Systems (QMS) procedures and work instructions. Complete all required training promptly. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred) EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Lean Manufacturing Experience (Preferred) Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing (Preferred) 1+ Years of CNC Machining Experience in a Manufacturing Environment (Preferred) CERTIFICATIONS Machining Trade School (Preferred) SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS Problem Solving - Practical Experience Machine Set Up - Practical Experience Visual Quality Assurance - Practical Experience GD&T - Practical Experience Blueprint Reading - Practical Experience Information Processing - Basic Knowledge Quality Inspection Metrology Tools - Practical Experience Attention to Detail - Practical Experience Data Entry - Practical Experience Basic Mathematical Ability - Basic Knowledge PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to remain in a stationary position - Frequently Move about the facility - Occasionally Move equipment around the facility - Occasionally Position oneself around equipment - Occasionally Handle/adjust/inspect various items and equipment - Constantly Communicate effectively with others - Frequently Perform tasks requiring repetitive handling/adjusting/inspecting of items - Constantly Distinguish and detect information such as writing and defects - Frequently WORKING CONDITIONS Noise Level - Frequently PAY RATE For positions in California, the pay range for this role is $17.26 - $23.00 per hour, varying based on job responsibilities.
